WormBase, is an international consortium of biologists and computer scientists dedicated to providing the research community with accurate, current, accessible information concerning the genetics, genomics and biology of C. elegans and some related nematodes.
  1. Browse to WormBase.
  2. Search for a gene called T12A2.1.
  3. Check out the intron/exon structure of the gene. How many exons does it have?
  4. If you look at the genomic map, are there more genes in this region and where are they located exactly?
