ChromA - WebStart
ChromA uses Java Web Start facilities to allow full-featured
applications to be launched with just a single-click of a mouse.
At least Java 1.6 or newer is needed to run ChromA. Please note,
that upon first invocation, Web Start caches the program, leading
to faster execution times on future invocations.
Notes
Sept. 8th 2009: Sun JAVA JREs 1.6_15 and greater seem
to contain a regression when validating signed but otherwise
empty jars, e.g. batik.jar. The webstart launcher will complain
about an unsigned resource and quit launching, although the jar
passes checking by the jarsigner tool. As of now, batik.jar has
been removed to restore full operation.
May 2009 If you are using MacOSX 10.5 (Leopard),
please use one of the 64bit versions of ChromA Web Start below,
there is a known bug in the 1.5 32 bit version on MacOSX 10.5
with webstart.
